Independence
No business pays to be included, and no commercial relationship decides what we cover, recommend or leave out. Affiliate links are disclosed and never change editorial judgement.
Sources
We rely on primary and authoritative sources wherever possible: government and park authorities, heritage bodies, UNESCO, and operators’ own published information. Where reputable sources disagree, we say so rather than silently choosing one.
What we will not publish
We do not invent or estimate prices, availability, ratings, reviews, facilities, distances, driving times, opening hours, permit rules or wildlife sighting probabilities, and we do not present information as personal experience when it is not. If a fact cannot be verified, we leave it out.
Time-sensitive information
Fees, opening times, road conditions, visa and border rules, and seasonal closures change. We flag these topics on the relevant pages and point readers to the official source to confirm before travelling.
Images
Editorial images come from freely licensed sources such as Wikimedia Commons, credited on the page, or from sources we have permission to use. Accommodation images are property-supplied where used, and we do not use traveller review photographs.
Corrections
If you find something out of date or wrong, we want to know. Corrections are reviewed against sources and updated promptly.
