Where this fits in your trip

Scenic flights leave from the airfield just outside town and are the only way to take in the whole width of the falls and the zigzag gorges at once. Victoria Falls town sits on the Zimbabwean bank of the Zambezi, a short walk from the rainforest viewpoints and close enough to the gorge that the spray is visible from the main street in full flood. Most visitors base themselves here for two or three nights and fill the days with a mix of water, air and game viewing.
